November was a busy month with many visitors, events, and tasks. Because of this we celebrated American Thanksgiving a little early this year on the Saturday before.

This year welcomed MCC Alumni and long time regional Peace Educator Max Ediger, our Connecting Peoples Coordinator Minear, and the current class of SALT/YAMEN participants. Altogether they represented six nationalities. Our guest list was quite a bit longer but between full schedules, the flu, and a case of Dengue many were not able to make it.

It was a great time of good food and good fellowship. There were meaningful discussions and rousing games of Wizard and Rummikub.

In the past, we went around the table saying what we were grateful for. This year Crystal and Catherine tried something more artistic with guests writing down their gratitudes on paper leaves. This lead to all sorts of fun arts and crafts after the meal.
