Three years go fast. We’re once again looking for people to join our team to support incredible partners who are doing inspiring work in Cambodia and Myanmar. This time around we have two open Partner Advisor positions. Both positions will accompany and strengthen the capacity of local MCC partners in the areas that where they’ve requested support.

• The Myanmar Partner Advisor will complete the planning, monitoring and evaluation tasks for MCC partner organizations in Myanmar. They will be responsible to listen to the partners, develop strong relationships with partners and local people, write realistic plans based upon the partner’s capacity and vision, select tools and conduct the monitoring tasks, and organize the evaluations of the projects. The Partner Advisor will also conduct ongoing training for local partner staff in completing all these tasks. They are responsible to ensure all internal documentation for MCC is complete in the MCC programming software. The Partner Advisor will live in Cambodia and travel to Myanmar frequently for prolonged periods in order to provide direct accompaniment of partners. The Partner Advisor is also responsible to fully participate in the security team for the Myanmar program.
• The Climate Solutions Partner Advisor will advise local partners on project planning, design, and implementation related to sustainable climate solutions. Local partners already have strong community development expertise; this position is focused on supporting them to strengthen existing climate solutions, introduce new implementations using evidence based practices, and bring successful climate solutions to scale. This position will travel frequently to partner offices and project sites in Prey Veng, Mondulkiri, Kratie, and Tboung Khmum provinces. The primary working location is flexible with the national office in Phnom Penh, field office in Prey Veng town, and a partner office in Mondulkiri being options. The position will also participate in networking related to climate change, conduct project environmental assessments, and support the advocacy and external grants teams on climate change related initiatives.
