Over the last four months we have slowly been downsizing everything we own to a few suitcases, some storage tubs, and a couple pieces of furniture. That’s meant donating a lot of our belongings to thrift stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Care & Share is the largest and best organized thrift store in the area.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Today I took a load of our belongings to the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes<\/a> in Souderton Pennsylvania to donate. Care & Share is an independent nonprofit that uses it’s earnings to support Mennonite Central Committee<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the easiest way for you to support our work with Mennonite Central Committee in Cambodia & Myanmar is to shop at and donate to Care & Share. Care & Share is also a wonderful place to volunteer<\/a> and includes a Ten Thousand Villages<\/a> shop that often hosts IVEPers. Almost every time I visit Care & Share I run into a volunteer from Peaceful Living or Plains Mennonite Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
